Video Premiere: The Anthem by Malantiguo

“Female fronted rock band Malantiguo, captained by singer-bass player Laura Ferro, are now back with The Anthem! A brand new single which is, in the words of Ms Ferro, the ideal continuation of Adamantine. Adamantine was a celebration of the triumph of will of the individual who is rebuilt after a defeat. The Anthem is conceived as a hymn, the soundtrack of the battle while it is fought. An encouragement to be brave and move on, without denying the negative experiences of the past. Precisely for this reason, The Anthem is a less gloomy and more agile song.”

The video for The Anthem was directed by Pax. Who is an old friend of the band and is an allegory of the four members of Malantiguo descending into hell. The Anthem is sung in English and Spanish, to honour Laura’s motherland Colombia.
