Beginning with the headliners, the iconic gothic-doom pioneers, Paradise Lost. A band that should need no introduction having wowed audiences for close to 35 years. It’s been a while since they played in the UK, so expect something pretty damn special here.
Different, but just as beloved, it’s Combichrist and their intense brand of industrial-core noise. Considered to be an immense live show that needs to be seen to be believed, Combichrist have promised an ‘old school show’ for Uprising which is certainly quite intriguing.
Caledonian blackened folk metal band, Saor will be in attendance to captivate the audience with their incredible blend of intensity and wonder. Whereas Palm Reader’s abrasive and metallic hardcore sound is sure to leave everyone who experiences it feeling a little beat up.
Always one of the most impressive live bands in the UK scene, progressive and groove-infused sludge monsters Boss Keloid are also part of the Uprising line up. Alongside the hard rocking and energetic Skarlett Riot, the blackened death power of Damim, the alt-metal infectiousness of Hawxx, the metalcore creativity of Internal Conflict, the intensity of blackened thrash/death metal band Blood Oath, and the progressive doom sound of Lowen.
Eleven fantastic bands over the entire day but, if you aren’t getting enough Uprising bang, then get yourself down to The Night Before Uprising.
A pre-festival show taking place at The Firebug in Leicester. Featuring the slam death hilarity of Party Cannon, the post-industrial-metal sound of Tribe of Ghosts, the heavy blues power of Ritual King, and the doom/sludge carnage caused by Bile Caster. Tickets for this show are extremely limited so if you’re on the fence, get off it and buy your tickets for it here now.
Tickets for Uprising 6 are still available and can be purchased here. Long considered the ‘best secret metal gig’ of the year, it’s time for everyone to know just what Uprising is about.
