The GBHBL Whiplash Podcast: Episode 9 – I Wish I Was Free

It’s another packed week of music as Carl & Sian talk about System of a Down being a probable UK Download Festival headliner, new Ghost material in 2017, the surprise announcement of Turbonegro as one of the headliners of the 2017 edition of Desertfest and much more.

Carl also gets a bit mad about continued support for some of the bigger bands in rock music no matter how poor their current output is.

With the return of Avenged Sevenfold the duo give their thoughts on the bands 8+ minute single, The Stage as well as single reviews for Enter Shikari, Korn, Jimmy Eat World, Dark Tranquillity, Superjoint, Testament and In Flames.

The Cultural Exchange makes a return with Sian getting a bit excited about Turisas2013 & Carl trying to not get too angry about Avenged Sevenfold’s Nightmare.

Finally there is a whole bunch of album reviews again. You can hear thoughts on:

Meshuggah: The Violent Sleep of Reason
The Devil Wears Prada: Transit Blues
The Dillinger Escape Plan: Dissociation
Wormrot: Voices
Red Fang: Only Ghosts
Bowling For Soup: Drunk Dynasty
