Directed by Brett Simmons and starring C.J. Thomason, Michelle Pierce, Corbin Bleu, Daniel Hugh Kelly and Stephen Lang. Based off the short story by W.W. Jacobs, The Monkey’s Paw is less of a retelling of the story and more of a sequel. At least that’s how it comes across.
The concept of an unassuming object which grants wishes that come with a price dates back to 1902. The Monkey’s Paw is a short story by author W. W. Jacobs. In the story, three wishes are granted to the owner of the monkey’s paw, but the wishes come with enormous consequences for interfering with fate.
