Down a Dark Hall follows a troubled teen named Kit Gordy. She is forced to join the exclusive Blackwood Boarding School in hope of improving her behaviour. However, she soon finds herself trapped by dark forces around the mysterious headmistress, Madame Duret.
Marrowbone or The Secret of Marrowbone is a horror film that released in 2017. It was written & directed by Sergio G. Sánchez on his directional debut. The film focuses on Jack and his three younger siblings. When their beloved mother suddenly dies, they are forced to keep the secret of her death in order to remain together. However, soon after they are plagued by a sinister presence in the sprawling manor in which they live.
Every so often a horror movie comes along that utilises many of the standard horror tropes but does it so well, it rises above the murky depths. One such film was Rec, a zombie, found-footage horror.
