South Dakota based hardcore/punk metallers, Earth Groans, released a new EP on the 3rd of August called Rahab via Solid State Records. The American band have only existed for a few years, forming in 2015 when founder Jeremy Schaeffer felt a need to get involved in the hardcore music scene. A genre he had always felt passionately about.

Album Review: Armory – The Search (High Roller Records)

Armory are a speed/thrash metal outfit from the city of Gothenburg, originally formed in the late summer of 2012 (out of the ashes of a band called Resurrector). After two demo tapes and the well-regarded debut album called World Peace … Cosmic War (issued via High Roller Records in 2016), they are back with a brand new studio effort called The Search out on July 13th 2018 via High Roller Records.

Dead Furies are a trio hailing from Tallinn, Estonia and released Rock City a Go Go earlier this year. They play high energy rock n’ roll with a bit of punk rock attitude. Taking influences from proto punk bands like The Stooges & The Heartbreakers to 90’s garage punk like Supersuckers.

EP Review: Holy Pinto – Tales from the Travelling T-shirt Salesman (Halloween Records)

Holy Pinto are an indie pop punk band formed in 2013 and consisting of Aymen Saleh and Ryan Hurley. They are heavily influenced by bands such as Death Cab for Cutie, The Front Bottoms and Jimmy Eat World. Their new EP entitled Tales from the Travelling T-shirt Salesman will be released on June 22nd 2018.
