New Mobile Games in 2023
We get it, and you like to kill time with mobile games. Then you’ve found the right site because we here at Pocket Tactics are huge fans. So much so that it would be helpful to compile a list of all the major new mobile games scheduled for release in 2023.
We’ll keep this page updated throughout the year, adding new titles as we learn of them, so you’ll always experience a fun new game. There will be several exciting new mobile games in 2023, so it should be a fantastic year. And that’s without even discussing the upcoming entry in the Monster Hunter series.
These games are free to download, and some iGaming sites that offer no deposit bonus codes will include these in their game collection. So, here are the best upcoming mobile games of 2023!
Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis
For fans of the Final Fantasy series, the entire series is represented in Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis, a single-player role-playing game. Ever Crisis is a free-to-play title that unlocks unique weaponry and costume sets through gacha systems, as announced by Tetsuya Nomura.
Peridot
Niantic, the team famous for Pokémon Go, is developing a new game called Peridot. You won’t be going out and catching mons in this game; instead, you’ll be tending to baby animals, seeing them grow into adults, and keeping them safe from extinction. Even if I do say so myself, this is a wonderful cause.
The game is in beta, and our Peridot release date guide has all the details you need to get started.
Pokémon TCG Live
It is widely expected that Pokémon TCG Live, once released in its final version on mobile, will become the center of the wildly popular card game, serving as a hub for trainers constantly on the road.
Warzone Mobile
I enjoy the ability to use firearms in Call of Duty. See, I’m a competitive person who enjoys shooters, and while I’m more than glad to join a team to take out the bad guys, I’m also a lone wolf at heart who wants to prove my worth. As a result, I am excited about Warzone Mobile, a mobile version of the famous PC battle royale game set to release on many platforms in 2019.
Honkai Star Rail
With its engaging story, amazing visuals, and awesome characters, this 3D, turn-based action-adventure takes features we love from Honkai Impact 3rd and gives them a fresh spin. To learn more about the Honkai Star Rail, see our preview.
Zenless Zone Zero
Everyone at PT was pumped after watching the trailer, even though we know nothing about Zenless Zone Zero. We eagerly anticipate more from Hoyoverse because of its songs’ exciting, action-packed, and futuristic tone. And there are plenty of oddballs, robots, servants, and bears among Zenless Zone Zero’s cast of characters.
Monster Hunter Mobile
While it may have taken some time, Monster Hunter has steadily risen in popularity and critical acclaim thanks to a series of excellent games and a devoted following. The Monster-smashing franchise is set to take on mobile, with the success of both World and Rise (the movie should be discussed).
With such a robust cast of monsters and gameplay that feels as tight as it ever has, it will be exciting to watch how Capcom tackles the mobile market and where this series goes from here.
DC Heroes & Villains
Even though I usually stay away from match-three puzzlers, one of the mobile games I’m looking forward to playing in 2019 is in this genre. In a first for this dark realm, DC Heroes & Villains attempts to combine elements of match-three puzzle games with role-playing game features.
Because I’m the odd man out between Joker and Harley, the fact that DC Comics publishes this game excites me. Now I can get to the crux of my enthusiasm: you need not play the hero. You can play the role of the antagonist instead, and bad guys have the most fun.
We’re still waiting for official details on DC Heroes & Villains’ release date.
Marvel World of Heroes
Do you share my enthusiasm for Marvel? Sure you do; who doesn’t enjoy watching heroes stomp on bad guys? Well, in 2019, thanks to the creative minds behind Pokemon Go, we can all take things a step further and become the heroes we’ve always wanted to be with Marvel World of Heroes, an augmented reality game. Sure enough, the actual world is full of exciting adventures.
Star Wars Hunters
A Star Wars MMO that emphasizes teamwork and collaboration in combat? I’m in for it. Bringing together their brilliant concepts with the many well-known aliens and characters from Star Wars is tempting if you’re a fan of battle royale games like Overwatch or Apex Legends.
We will know a lot about Star Wars Hunters next year, but we’re curious to see how well it performs because it’s bound to have a ton of cool aliens from throughout the Star Wars universe.
