Music News: Pelugion to Play Godiva Festival 2019
On Friday 5th July Coventry hard rock / metal three-piece Pelugion will play the rock tent at Godiva Festival again!
Pelugion played the same stage back in 2015. Soon after they inked a management deal with UK based FATangel Management.
In 2016 they headed to Woodworm Studios with Mike Exeter who has worked with such legends as Black Sabbath, Dio, Judas Priest to record their single ‘Bide My Time’, this brought them to the attention of Wildfire Festival in Scotland where Pelugion performed later that year.
Pelugion gigged heavily through 2017 including a performance at the SOLD-OUT HRH Metal at the O2 Academy in Birmingham, they also performed their first acoustic show at Uprising at the iconic Demontfort Hall in Leicester and toured with South Wales’ heavyweights Lifer.
Pelugion won Coventry’s Metal 2 The Masses in 2018 which won them a slot on the New Blood stage at Bloodstock Open Air Festival.
The band released their EP ‘Ⅰ’ in the run up to the festival appearance which contained a collection of all the bands’ recordings to date. Both the EP and Pelugion’s performance at Bloodstock were received remarkably well.
2019 so far has saw Pelugion play HRH Metal in Birmingham once more, this time on the second stage, they have also played as special guests to UK thrash legends Xentrix and now they can be seen on the rock stage at Godiva Festival on 5th July as main support to headliners Frank Iero and the Future Violents!
