Music News: Introducing Ghost Arcadia – The London Four-Piece, Doing It Themselves!

London – a city so saturated with music that it’s near impossible for bands to make a name for themselves yet the advice we hear from all majors and industry professionals to aspiring musicians is, ‘Get yourself Down to London, it’s where the magic happens.’

Quite off-putting for the next gen of music makers, some would say? However for Ghost Arcadia, DIY is at the heart of everything they do and putting shows on in grassroots venues is the much preferred option to a sell out show at the Ally Pally*

*Although if you’re offering a support slot, they wouldn’t say no!

Born out of duo, Reuben Beau Davies and Anthony Hollis’ passion for live music, performance and production, Ghost Arcadia finalised their four-piece line up with Adam Ford (lead guitar) and Ali McCreadie (drums). With each member growing up listening to music so different from one another, it’s no surprise that Ghost Arcadia’s genre fits no box. They pride themselves on not being pigeonholed and writing what feels right for them in any given moment. Musically, Ghost Arcadia take note from an eclectic influence pool, including the likes of: Twenty One Pilots, White Lies, You Me at Six and The Killers.

Ghost Arcadia are keen to make new waves across further regions without losing their dedicated fan base right here in the capital. The band are DIY through and through and keep this value in mind with every project, gig and team they work with – they’re doing it themselves and 2020 is set to be a big year for these lads.

In February 2020, the band will be releasing their debut EP under this lineup titled, Libero, which was produced by Billy Stewart. Ghost Arcadia are also in the process of planning performances outside of their hometown. Mini tour, incoming!
