The band says:

The music video for the song “Beyond Me” is the latest material promoting our album ‘Stage: Zero’ released in 2021. The song is about the child that we all once had within us. Some of us, wanting to grow up too quickly, kill it off and get rid of the innocent curiosity and belief that allows us to see the world around us in full color. We do this to protect ourselves from the harsh reality, but at the same time, we lose a very significant element of our own personality. The music video was filmed in picturesque mountain scenery during different seasons of the year, which emphasizes the importance of the song and is also a spectacular closing of the album promotion period.

Mentally Blind’s music is a combination of progressive metal full of technical guitar riffs with catchy melodies, the depth of spatial reverbs and the world of analog synthesizers. The compositions, constantly balancing on the edge of an all-encompassing sense of sadness and delicate flashes of hope, draw listeners into a cinematic world full of emotional and sometimes even romantic raptures, only to hit them with an uncompromising wall of sound in the next moment. Currently, the band is promoting their latest release from 2021, Stage: Zero, where they dealt with echoes of their own past and the topic of civilization diseases, while countering the weight of the themes addressed in the lyrics with a slightly lighter and more song-like side of their own creativity.
