Interview: Songwriter, Multi-Instrumentalist and Producer Adam Kronowski (Video/Audio)

Kronowski is the metal/rock creation of songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Adam Kronowski. Bursting on to the scene with the single, ‘The Pyre’, Kronowski has amassed millions of streams, appeared on playlists like Spotify’s “All New Metal” and “New Blood”, and even charted on the official Spotify charts.

Handling all writing, performance, and production himself, Adam pulls from a wide variety of heavy metal and rock influences, and even outside genres like country and reggaeton, to craft heavy metal in a new powerful direction. Teaming up with metal veterans like Dennis Ward (Angra, Helloween) and Matias Kupiainen (Stratovarius) on mixing duties and Mika Jussila (Children of Bodom, Nightwish) and Ted Jensen (Lamb of God, Green Day) on mastering, Kronowski’s releases stand in the top ranks of metal releases today on every level.

Along with lead guitarist Tommy Lenzi, the group takes the next step forward with the release of the EP, ‘Do I Need a Reason’. Which features the scorching title track, a thrashing anthem for those days when everything just feels off.

Coupled with the previous singles ‘The Weight’, ‘Tides’, ‘Boring’, and ‘Shades of Grey’, the EP journeys from aggressive breakdowns to pensive ballads and everything in between, providing a truly modern metal experience.

We spoke to Adam Kronowski, not just delving into the creative period that birthed this EP and its tracks, but the creative process of Kronowski in general. We also talk about experimentation, including doing harsh vocals for the first time, the ease with which fresh ideas come about, and so much more.
