Interview: Nymphic (Written)
Modern metal band Nymphic have a busy start to 2025, releasing their next single, ‘Enemy, on January 31st, alongside a DIY music video. They will also release the next chapter of their comic series. Let’s get to know them a little better.
1. Hello! Thank you for taking the time to chat to us. First things first, tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started.
NYMPHIC was founded by Stix Warner back in 2016 as an acoustic duo, marking the start of what has grown into something much larger today. As the years went by, the band evolved with the addition of new members, each bringing their unique talents and creative energy. Antonio G, Omar Perez, and, most recently, Adam Cutler (who joined at the end of 2024) have all played a vital role in shaping NYMPHIC’s identity.
It’s been a journey of growth, collaboration, and shared passion for music, and while the lineup has shifted over time, this dynamic blend of personalities and skills has forged NYMPHIC into the creative force it is today.
2. Someone comes to you and asks you to sum up what kind of music you play – what do you tell them?
NYMPHIC is a fusion of classic and modern metal—fierce, powerful, and unapologetic. But our music is more than just sound—it’s a portal to another world. At the heart of what we create is The Nymphic Flower, a vengeful spirit of the earth and the central figure in a sprawling dystopian sci-fi saga. This story reflects the struggles and challenges of our own world in a way that’s both thrilling and deeply meaningful.
Our journey comes to life across a multimedia universe that combines crushing alternative metal anthems, cinematic music videos, and an immersive comic series. With gritty riffs, compelling storytelling, and an endless vision, NYMPHIC isn’t just a band—we’re crafting an entire universe.
Join the journey. Join the force!
3. What’s currently keeping you busy? A new album/EP/single release? A new video? Playing live, or planning ahead?
We’re thrilled to say we’ve got a lot happening right now! Our next single, Enemy, is dropping on 31.01.25, accompanied by a DIY music video we’re incredibly proud of, as well as the next chapter of our comic series.
Not stopping there, we’ve got another single lined up for release shortly after, complete with its own music video and chapter. On top of that, we’ve been pouring our energy into a brand-new EP that’s set to release in the second half of 2025.
To bring it all to life, we have a lineup of shows planned both in and out of London, so we’re keeping busy and loving every second of it. Stay tuned—there’s so much more to come!
4. What is about this current period that is particularly exciting for you?
This is such a thrilling time for us because we’re finally unveiling a wave of new music that we’ve poured our hearts and souls into. 2025 is shaping up to be a massive year for NYMPHIC, and we’re so excited for everyone to hear what we’ve been creating.
But it’s not just about the music—every release is another piece of the puzzle in the NYMPHIC universe. These next singles, music videos, and comic chapters are going to dive deeper into the story we’ve been building, and we can’t wait for fans, both new and old, to immerse themselves in it.
This feels like a turning point for us, where everything we’ve been working toward starts to take shape. The energy, the creativity, and the connection with our audience—it’s all coming together, and we’re absolutely buzzing for what’s next!
5. Tell me about the work that has gone into making it a reality and what it means to you.
This project has been a true labor of love and teamwork. Every aspect—from the music videos to the comic media—has been created in-house by the band. It’s been an incredible journey, combining all our talents, bouncing ideas off each other, and seeing our vision come to life piece by piece.
What makes it even more special is how hands-on the process has been. Whether it’s conceptualizing visuals, crafting the story, or finding creative ways to promote our work (yes, even taking it to the streets!), every step has been driven by passion and dedication.
For us, this isn’t just about making music—it’s about building something bigger. This project represents who we are as a band and our commitment to connecting with fans in a meaningful and immersive way. To see it resonate with people and grow into something that lives beyond us is truly unreal.
6. Making music and being creative can be a very positive experience and can be very good for the mind. In what way has making music had a positive impact on your mental health?
Music has always been our outlet—a way to step away from the daily grind and channel all the emotions that might otherwise weigh us down. Even though our work delves into struggles and hardships, expressing those feelings through our project has been incredibly cathartic.
For us, it’s a way of transforming anger, frustration, and angst into something productive and focused. Instead of letting those emotions consume us, we channel them into creating music, crafting stories, and building a universe that not only resonates with our experiences but also connects with others who might feel the same.
In a way, it’s freeing. It’s like turning chaos into art—a constant reminder that even the darkest emotions can be fuel for something meaningful. Music isn’t just what we create; it’s how we cope, grow, and thrive.
7. It can also be incredibly challenging, more so in the modern times. What have been some challenging aspects of making music and how have you overcome them?
Making music can definitely come with its fair share of challenges, especially in today’s fast-paced world. Time and money have always been obstacles, and figuring out how to navigate those has not been easy. However, what’s really exciting is that we’ve learned to think on our feet and tackle problems together as a team. These challenges have actually brought us closer, fostering a deep connection where we bounce ideas off each other and fuel our creativity. In the end, it’s this shared experience that has strengthened our bond and made our sound truly unique.
8. How do you handle the online aspects of being in a band? Having to put out content constantly, promoting across several different social media platforms, and having your success measured in likes and follows?
Handling the online side of being in a band definitely comes with its own set of challenges—constantly creating content, managing multiple social media platforms, and having your success measured by likes and followers. It can feel overwhelming at times, especially with day jobs and family commitments pulling us in different directions. But what keeps us going is our passion for the music. We’ve learned to make the most of the time we have, even if it means working on content or rehearsing at odd hours. It’s all about finding creative ways to stay connected with our audience while balancing everything else life throws our way.
9. How do you make this part of things enjoyable, and fulfilling, for yourself?
Making this part of the process enjoyable and fulfilling for us means tapping into our creativity and staying true to who we are as a band. Creating engaging content forces us to look within, reflect on our values, and figure out how to express that online in short, impactful bursts. It’s definitely a challenge, but one we embrace wholeheartedly, as it keeps us on our toes and pushes us to come up with fresh ideas. It’s exciting to think about how we want to be represented, and it drives us to constantly innovate while staying connected with our audience.
10. Speaking directly to listeners – what would you ask they do to help support you?

11. Outside of music, what do you like to do to relax?
Music is definitely our escape from the daily hustle, but outside of that, many of us love building with LEGO and Stix is also a keen gardener (ironically as our Mascot NYMPHIC is a flower spirit).
