Danish death-metallic hardcore band Lifesick’s latest (and first for label Metal Blade) album ‘Loved by None, Hated by All’ was released late 2024 to much acclaim. A record that showcased a tumultuous masterwork of bleak aggressive beauty, Lifesick in all its glory, but with so much more to it as well.

It has been, rightfully, lauded as their best work yet which is saying something when you consider the heft and weight of their previous releases.

Now, it’s all about maintaining the momentum, getting out and wrecking venues around the world, while also preparing for what might come in the future, as far as new music goes. That’s Lifesick for you though, always moving forward with ferocious intent.

 

 

An aspect of their personalities that we discuss in this interview with guitarist Nicolai Lindegaard and vocalist Simon Shoshan. As well as taking a slight retrospective look at Loved by None, Hated by All, especially the work that went into it, how it has shaped the band today, touring, and so much more.
