1. Hello! Thank you for taking the time to chat to us. First things first, tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started.

Hi, and it’s my pleasure to chat with you here. I am Eric Gynan, co-founder of the band Leaving Eden. We are from The Boston Massachusetts area USA.

Leaving Eden & Silver Springs Fleetwood Mac Tribute is: (2 different bands with the same members)

I’ve been playing music since I could walk so it’s been my life. We’ve been around the block for a while having a great time touring and making albums.

2. Someone comes to you and asks you to sum up what kind of music you play – what do you tell them?

What I always say, Leaving Eden’s music is an eclectic array of multi genre songs from heavy rock/metal to acoustic and everything in between that really focuses on reality, based upon life’s struggles, and victories, the simple, and yet most difficult themes that many people may be able to relate to. What you see is what you get.

3. What’s currently going on in your camp? New releases? Tours? Etc.

We are excited to say that we just signed a new deal with New England based record label Verdict Music/Sony/The Orchard. We have just released a new EP titled “Reflections.”

The theme is about looking back, reflecting on the things that have made you who you are today. The first single off the EP is titled “Dancing By The Fire“. We are always touring as well.

4. What has been the most positive experience of making music to date for you?

5. Likewise, what has been some of the more challenging aspects and how have you overcome them?

There’s so many challenges in any profession. I think it takes a lot of planning, keeping it all together and being able to overcome the obstacles. If your doing what you love, that’s truly what matters most.

6. How do you handle the modern expectations of being in a band? Always online, having to put out content constantly, your success measured in likes and follows?

Ya man just gotta go with the flow. Gotta always be flexible, be on the cutting edge of technology and importantly, be aware of how music and the entire environment changes consistently.

7. What’s something that really ‘grinds your gears’ about the industry/business these days and what would you propose is done to combat it?

Well I think it’s nice that you’ve got the world at your fingertips however there’s always been something to promotion. Grass roots is always great. I’ve said this before, I think if the radio stations played more local music (the bands right in their own backyard) it would be beneficial to all.

8. Speaking directly to listeners – what would you ask they do to help support your music?

Come out and hang with us. We’re always out there. Play our songs and videos, it’s pretty much free. If you wanted cool Merch, we got ya covered.

9. Outside of the music, what do you do to relax?

I enjoy alone time pondering, writing, rehearsing and hanging out with friends.

10. Where can people find you?
