1. Hello! Thank you for taking the time to chat to us. First things first, tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started.

Hello people! Thanks for your time. We are Hole in the Frame!

We are an Italian band made up in Molise (in the South of Italy) in 2014, aiming of creating music free of any kind of traditional label, still full of feelings and emotions, misery and rejection for the modern system, which appears to be plastic and a creature of habit, unable to host pure and sincere thoughts. We were born in a little reality to scream our regret to the contemporary system.

2. Someone comes to you and asks you to sum up what kind of music you play – what do you tell them?

We play outside the patterns. We define our style like a Crossover Groove Metal or 90’s Metal. But we can say that we don’t have a specific kind of music. We like to range in different forms of expression.

3. What’s currently going on in your camp? New releases? Tours? Etc.

We’re working on our 4th album. Regarding the tour, we’re tying to plan a tour in Japan or in Balkan Countries with Volcano Records & Promotion.

4. What has been the most positive experience of making music to date for you?

Sharing a common thought with a group of people that believe in their dreams. Do not stop dreaming, because with the music you can change the World!

5. Likewise, what has been some of the more challenging aspects and how have you overcome them?

The distance between us band members, because we live in different places for work reasons; and also, the difficulties of emerging and carrying on an idea of music in this corrupt and superficial society.

6. How do you handle the modern expectations of being in a band? Always online, having to put out content constantly, your success measured in likes and follows?

We think that the social aspect is important but not crucial. It’s important to create contents frequently to keep eyes on you, but we think that playing live is the most important aspect, because you have the real social impact on people, and you can talk with them.

7. What’s something that really ‘grinds your gears’ about the industry/business these days and what would you propose is done to combat it?

Well… It’s a good question! You can answer to this question. You know that the music market is at the point of no return, but we try to promote ourselves via social. We’re trying to buy, sadly, every kind of tour or promotion. We never give up because we believe in a dream that is: “Change society through music!”.

8. Speaking directly to listeners – what would you ask they do to help support your music?

We really don’t know, but we would speak directly to the parents of new generations trying to educate their children to listen to real music. Trying to make clear that behind a song there is a lot of passion and work, and we take time to our own lives to chase art’s sublimation.

9. Outside of the music, what’s do you do to relax?

You must ask this question to each component of the band but we can say that we like to gather together and drink a bottle of whiskey to talk about our future about our compositions.

10. Where can people find you?

You can find us on every music platform like Spotify and YouTube. Thanks for your time! Greetings from Italy! Stay high with the family!
