Maysnow is a metal band from Lecce, Italy that was founded in 2016 by Daniele Rini and Roberto Vergallo. The band was created in memory of their friend Mimmo Angelini. Over the years, the project has involved numerous musicians, played live all over Italy, and released several important records.

Their debut album ‘The Unexpected’ was released in 2020, and four years later, the follow-up, ‘A Dream Within a Dream’ was released via Sleaszy Rider Records. An album that features Daniel Cavanagh (Anathema, Weather Systems) and Ragnar Zolberg (Pain of Salvation, Sign).

It is this album that was up for discussion in this interview with Daniele and Roberto, who offered insight into its creative process, the time and work that went into making it a reality, what it means to them to see it released, the direction that are heading in now, and so much more.
