Horror Short Review: Winnie the Pooh (2023)

From ACMofficial comes Winnie the Pooh, but not as you know it. A horror short that stars Ashley White, Ranen Navat, and Brent Perrott.

Ms Robin (White) is searching the cupboard for some honey, when a noise alerts her to a near-empty bottle on the floor. Conveniently near a Winnie the Pooh teddy. She goes to her son’s room, Christoper, and accuses him of having gotten into the honey, but he denies that.

It seems as though honey is popular in this household and Christopher blames the Winnie the Pooh teddy. Of course, that is absurd, isn’t it?

As far as horror shorts go, this is fairly standard stuff and ACMofficial has certainly produced better. It certainly seems to have been inspired by the buzz around the Bloody and Honey movie. Take that for what it is, this short lacks believable characters and scares. Two areas ACMofficial is normally able to nail.
