A Dark Fun Original horror short, The Suitcase comes from Sana Norouzbeigi and clocks in at around seven minutes in total.

A young girl named Shaily has found a suitcase while out with her mother. The mother is less than impressed, but Shaily insists that it is a magical suitcase and gets her mother to close her eyes. So she does, for a few seconds, and when she opens them, Shaily has disappeared but the suitcase remains.

Of course, the mother just thinks Shaily is hiding somewhere. That is until she hears the sound of her daughter’s voice echoing from inside the suitcase. Echoing like she is in some sort of deep void. Which is impossible, of course. That’s certainly what the mother thinks, until she opens it.

A very creative horror short with some excellent visuals that really sends the imagination into overdrive. The Suitcase is more interesting than it initially seems, and ends in very satisfying fashion. It could do with a bit of tightening up in its latter portion (trim 30 seconds off), and it’s also where some of the acting gets a bit ropey, but these are minor complaints. It’s got a unique feel to it, which makes it well worth checking out below.
