A young woman in a hospital late at night decides that an elevator ‘out of order’ sign doesn’t apply to her. Nor does she seem to be flummoxed by state of said elevator, that looks like it probably should be condemned rather than just be out of order.

It’s hard to feel sorry for her when it jerks and shakes but it does arrive at a floor, a floor that few visit anymore. The shot of the doors opening is one of many great shots from this horror short.

Looking out into the hall, she quickly realises she shouldn’t be on this floor, so attempts to get the elevator to move, but it’s not working. Which means she is going to have to find another way off the floor. Unfortunately for her, she is not alone.

Check it out below to find out what is going on.

This is a great horror short once you ignore the silliness around using the elevator. It’s very atmospheric, has a strong creepy tone, and pays all of that off impressively. It fills you with dread, then gets the heart racing as the real horror is unleashed, and finally it ties it all together in a depressingly dark way. The final shot of the short is pretty damn horrible.
