Horror Short Review: The Fall (2016)

I’m always impressed by what can be accomplished in such a small amount of time when it comes to the world of horror shorts. That 15-second horror shorts exist is still mind-blowing, and while Fall isn’t quite that short, it still only clocks in at 43 seconds long.

A story about being alone and wishing someone was with you. A story about an accident. A story about a fall.

It’s super simple, a man narrates his dying moments as he lies in a pool of blood. Having slipped and hit his head. A man who is alone and is now wondering what could have been if he had friend.

It’s so f**king dark and packed with so much emotion, which is incredible for its runtime. It really makes you think about your own mortality and those you love. It really makes you think about those who you love that might live alone. That should tell you everything about this short’s effectiveness.

Check it out yourself, below. After all, it’s only 43 seconds of your time.
