A comedy horror short from writer and director Jeph Porter, Run! isn’t a laugh out loud kind of comedy horror, but it will get a snort or two out of you.

Lauren Powell plays a woman out for a jog in a woody, quiet area. Her smart watch starts to play a news bulletin about escaped asylum patients nearby, but she’d rather hear some tunes as she runs. Of course, it’s not long before she’s being pursued by an axe wielding maniac (Eddie Hurchro), something she is completely unaware of. Thankfully, her pursuer isn’t the fittest.

It is silly, but it’s done in such a clever way, it’s really enjoyable. The obliviousness of the runner, the antics of the maniac behind her, the absurdity of the ending. Run! is a good horror flick and well worth checking out. Which you can, below.
