Horror Short Review: Ritual (2024)
From Spanish filmmakers, Miguel Delgado and Daniel Lavin Gonzalez comes a micro horror short called Ritual. A short that tells you at the start that it is best experienced in complete darkness and with headphones.
Why? Because even with a barely two-minute runtime, Ritual is immersive. Both visually and sonically, delivering a simple story about a man conducting some sort of ritual, attempting to bring something into this world.
Does he succeed? You’ll have to check it out to find out, but be prepared for a jump scare that is very effective. Shorts like this are always impressive, but when they can actually deliver on the frights, they’re even better, and this one delivers.
