Horror Short Review: Jeff the Killer (2019)
Coming from writer/director, Alexander Henderson, the man behind the excellent Momo horror short and many more. Jeff the Killer is based off the Creepypasta story of the same name but Henderson takes his own ‘stab’ at it for an effective and creepy horror.
It’s short, less then 4 minutes but packs a serious punch.
Filmed from the first-person perspective, kind of found-footage like, the story surrounds an abandoned home. In the early hours of the morning neighbours report screaming being heard inside. A neighbourhood security guard goes inside to investigate but is totally unprepared for the horror he finds.
An excellently done horror, cheap with its scares but still very effective. The horror comes in full force, realised by excellent performances and incredible make-up. The moment it ends, you’ll just want to watch it again.
