Horror Short Review: In the Bath (2023)

From the macabre minds of Deformed Lunchbox, comes In the Bath. A horror short written and directed by Denman Hatch, and starring Jessica Chin King and Sebastien Diaz.

A bath. It’s considered a great form of relaxation. A chance to unwind, let the warm water wash away the stresses of the day, and just take some time for yourself. Who doesn’t love a nice, bubbly bath!?

The experience of the main character of this horror short isn’t quite as soothing though.

Simple, short and extremely well done. In the Bath is a fantastic example of how to tell an effective horror story in a handful of minutes. Delivering chills, thrills, and even a wry smile. Which disappears as an unexpected level of brutality arrives – partially shot from a disturbing POV of the victim.

It might make you think about locking your door when you take your next bath. This is well worth checking out, which you can below.
