Horror Short Review: Deathly Presents (2015)

It’s Christmas Eve in a happy home where a loving mother, father and young child are enjoying the festive period.

They are interrupted by the father getting a text message only to suddenly hear a thump and creaking above them. The father goes to investigate but doesn’t come back. The mother calls for him but instead the sound of bells and creaking/groaning is heard.

The Christmas tree shakes, the hallway light goes out (which is where the father went) prompting the mother to go and investigate. It’s here that the father jumps out and scares the two. Always a hilarious joke when people are legitimately scared.

Realising that he went to far, he goes to comfort his son and reveals to his son that is was Santa and that Santa says that he has been such a good boy, he can open one present now.

The present he chooses? One that doesn’t look like it belongs. One that wasn’t there before. What is inside? Well, you’ll have to watch it yourself below to find out.

It’s worth it though as the build more then pays off your time. The professional cinematography, good acting and good effects marks this short out as one to watch.
