Horror Short Review: Creeper (2023)

A film by Freddie Fullerton, Creeper is a deeply atmospheric and uncomfortable horror short that will certainly frighten some people.

As a man gets dressed and ready to go out, we get our first taste of Creeper’s chills with a quick shot of a figure watching him from his garden. It’s extremely unnerving, not just for the viewer, but for the man too. Who sees the stranger and naturally heads out to find out who it is and what they want.

When he gets to the garden, the person is gone. Puzzled, the man gets his dog and heads on out. Driving to a remote area for a short hike with the dog, he gets the sense that somebody is behind him, but when he looks, no-one is there.

On edge now, feeling as though he is not alone, he looks around and makes a startling discovery. The person that was watching him in his garden, is in the woods. What happens next? Check it out below to find out.

A really professionally made short. Creeper stays with you, which is always a good sign. Good acting, well-shot, and with top shelf ominous music and sound effects, Creeper is a really chilling experience. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself checking all the locks in your home before you go to bed after watching this.
