It’s almost time. Grief Ritual’s debut album ‘Collapse’ is out via Church Road Records on January 31st, 2025, the follow-up to their self-released debut EP Spiritual Disease. On the album, the band lay bare the anger, frustration, and disenfranchisement they feel about the UK and the wider world. Human extinction, capitalism, genocide, ecocide, and the rise of populist right authoritarianism are explored in garish detail across the record.

Now, the latest explosive single ‘Spiral’ has been released. Says the band:

SPIRAL is about theft – the stealing of wages, time, health, lifespan, potential, and hope. We live in a world where the majority are underpaid, living pay-check to pay-check and unable to live a safe, happy, fulfilling life due to years of cronyism, austerity, and greed from those who have found themselves above society. We have had years of derision, years of those at the top being complicit in genocide, and war. Years of being let down by successive bigoted corrupt governments who promise much but deliver little.
