Giant Walker Release New Single ‘Time to Waste’ – New Album ‘Silhouettes’ Out September 20th

Newcastle’s eclectic heavy progressive rock outfit Giant Walker are back to deliver a master class in heaviness and musicianship. Their sophomore LP ‘Silhouettes’ (Produced, Mixed & Mastered by Chris Coulter) is out through Church Road Records on the 20th of September.

The final single ‘Time to Waste’ is out now and, like previous tracks, it demonstrates the band’s incredible ability to write a real earworm of a song. A sleazy, riff-driven track that delivers non-stop swinging grooves.

Guitarist Jamie Southern explains:

Time To Waste takes influence from 90s Hip Hop and combines this rhythmic feel with a grungey, fuzzy overtone. The initial idea came from writing a bluesy riff in the lowest tuning I could get from my baritone guitar. From there, the vibe was so strong that the rest of the song essentially wrote itself.
