Microsoft Fired Thousands Of Workers

According to Business Insider and Axios, Microsoft this week laid off up to a thousand employees in several departments at once, including the Xbox gaming division. Veterans who have worked in the company for 12 years have also lost their jobs.

In addition to Xbox, the layoffs affected Edge and MSMT (working on next-generation technologies). The media added that they did not touch key developers and teams.

In a comment to Axios, a Microsoft spokesperson said the company regularly evaluates business priorities and makes structural adjustments accordingly. Investment in the business will continue along with hiring in key industries for long-term growth. Microsoft has become the latest company in the world to lay off some of its employees. This is happening against the backdrop of an unstable economic situation.

Razer And Android

At the end of September, Razer, Verizon, and Qualcomm announced they were collaborating on the Razer Edge portable gaming console, which runs on Android and supports 5G connectivity.

In mid-October, the device was shown officially. Basically, it’s an Android tablet with Kishi V2 Pro controllers that can be detached at any time.
