A statement making EP, at least as far as catchiness goes, A House Full of Strangers is a lovable release. Packed with upbeat rhythms, heartfelt melodies, and infectious chorus after infectious chorus.

From the very start, its accessibility is front and centre with They’re Gonna Get You, and you’d have to have a heart made of stone to not recognise the innate appeal of this kind of pop rock/melodic punk music. It’s the first of many memorable listens, with the next coming in the form of a more laidback effort called Help Myself. This one proving to be an even stronger example of the heart and soul that exists in this band.

With Happy & Healthy, the foot-tapping rhythms and danceable choruses are still ever prominent. Followed then by a pretty piece called Take It From a Friend that has a certain robustness layered over some moody melodies. Before Getting the Band Back Together Again closes out the EP in a smile-inducing way.

Five tracks that are super digestible and appealing to all. Wild Spelks have something about them, and A House Full of Strangers will certainly turn some heads.
