EP Review: Molis Sepulcrum – Left For The Worms (Pulverised Records)
Hungary’s new hideous deathbeasts Molis Sepulcrum, featuring members from Gravecrusher and Mörbid Carnage, unleash their debut MLP/MCD ‘Left For The Worms’ – a sickening plunge into an extremely vicious bite of HM-2 drenched Death Metal.
It will be released on July 16th, 2021 via Pulverised Records.
You better have a strong stomach for primitive death metal as these Hungarians take inspiration from both the Floridan and Swedish death metal scene to create something truly stomach-turning.
There’s no sugar-coating this. Left for the Worms is a nauseating earful of noise. It’s unbending in its goal which is to slam as hard as possible while also paying homage to the legendary bands that came before it. Think Cannibal Corpse, Grave, Dismember and the like and you’ll have some idea of just how savage Molis Sepulcrum are.
Do they do it well? Absolutely. If you have a deep hatred in your heart for this kind of metal, you’re not going to be won over in the slightest. However, if the gory, maggot-infested, bile-inducing sound excites you then Left for the Worms is the perfect release to sink your teeth into.
