EP Review: Chandrian Kill – Bring Out Your Dead (Bar3 Records)

Chandrian Kill’s sound comes from the meeting of two creative British minds with a long history in metal music, with strong doses of melodic invention added to the potent mix.

Their debut EP, Bring Out Your Dead will be released on September 7th 2018 via Bar3 Records.

Chandrian Kill 2

A melodic metal/metalcore EP, I Collide is a mix of stimulating heaviness with broad guitar groove and varying vocal styles. It’s an introduction that will make you sit up and pay attention, not rewriting the playbook as it where but certainly scribbling over the pages.

Building a the strong start, Chandrian Kill come out with all guns blazing on Filter Off. Here the creativity really shows as the blend of harmonious sounds and forceful heaviness works far better. Soft sweetness that is usurped by a style of metalcore that excites and intrigues. The energy is infectious.

Remain Alive wraps up an introduction that certainly makes Chandrian Kill a band to be keep an eye on. While it lacks some of the fire found in the other two tracks, the guitars are on particular form here.
