Interview
1. Congratulations on being added to the BOA 2018 bill. How are you feeling about playing the festival? It’s only going to be your 10th show as a band, right?
We are all currently in a state of disbelief. Mainly as we had to admit Joe was right after saying “This time next year we’ll be playing Bloodstock”. Yes it is true it’s our 10th show as as a band, only 1 year after we formed. We will be celebrating all weekend.
2. What can attendees expect from your set?
Thraaaaaaaaash.
3. Can you tell us anything about your debut release?
We have currently got 7 out of the 9 songs written, 3 of which are recorded. We have received our front cover artwork from Very Metal Art, and are almost ready to go. We are hoping to have this all released in early 2019.
4. Are you going to be around the festival all weekend? If so, who are you excited to see?
Oh yes, of course we’re sticking around. We’re really looking forward to seeing our friends in Drudge, Negative Thought Process, and Democratus, as well as watching the likes of Devildriver, Suicidal Tendencies, Cannibal Corpse, Gojira, Wednesday 13, Doro, Mr Big, and so many more.
5. What does the rest of 2018 look like for Damaged Reich?
Not too bad. We’re continuing to write and record our CD as well as hopefully getting a few more shows below our belt. We’d love to get back to The Hammer and The Anvil in Birmingham before the end of the year especially.
