Head over to the festival’s website to find out much more & pick up day tickets, weekend camping tickets have now completely sold out!
The line-up this year is one of the best the festival has ever managed to put together. With a huge range of established & up-and-coming bands spread across the four days. Always looking to push the future of rock & metal, the New Blood stage has some of the brightest & best upcoming bands on its line-up including Netherhall.
Playing an exciting brand of progressive metal, Sunday evening is the place to be with for a riff heavy & atmospheric sound on the New Blood stage.
We’re very proud to bring you an interview with Netherhall.
1. Tell us a bit about yourselves. How’d you get started as a band?
All of us went to College together in Birmingham. We didn’t all initially work together, Myself & Lewis were in a previous band together, whilst Paul & Jake were also doing their own thing. Lewis eventually joined up with them aswell. More or less two years ago now, I also joined the other guys, which is when Netherhall began.
2. How are you feeling about playing Bloodstock this year?
We are all really excited to be playing the New Blood Stage this year. We never expected to win the Birmingham Final so it’s a very welcome surprise.
3. What can people expect from your set?
People can expect a high energy show with a blend of atmospheric echoes and dark heavy riffs.
4. What bands (if any) are you hoping to check out while you’re there?
We are all looking forward to seeing Ghost especially. It’ll be great to see fellow New Blood Stage bands such as Dakesis, Devils Playground & Ashen Crown aswell.
5. What’s the future plans for the band?
We are looking towards writing and recording new material after Bloodstock, hopefully for a late 2018 release.
We’d like to thank Netherhall for taking the time to give this fantastic interview. Make sure you check them out at Bloodstock & on their future tours which you can keep up to date with on Bands In Town.
