1. How did you get started as a band?

The band was started by Dustin Cook in 2013 under the name Rotting Inside. After a couple years, the name changed to Recorruptor and became fully realized as a band in 2016.

2. How would you describe your sound?

Death Metal, with a mix of old school sound with a lot of new influence.

3. What bands/artists would you say have influenced your style of music?

The Black Dahlia Murder, Emperor, Cattle Decapitation, Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, Necrophagist,, along with just any great metal or music in general.

4. Has the rise of YouTube & music streaming helped or hindered you as a band?

The rise of YouTube and streaming has helped the band get discovered by people who probably would’ve never heard of us. It does hurt some physical sales, but it has helped with gaining a decent fan base.

5. What do you enjoy doing when you’re not making music?

We all have our passions outside of music, from streaming, to thrifting, to tattooing, to gaming, and just learning other instruments as well.

6. What are your future plans musically? Tours?

We are currently working on our 3rd album which will be released late summer/early fall 2023. From there, we will be working on tours, and expanding our shows and fanbase.
