1. How did you get started as a band?

After the release of the first single called “Dirty Game” in April 2021, in style of modern US bands, it was clear that we could not stay with the project alone. The reactions of the listeners were hugely motivating for us. We decided to continue in full force as a band and in February 2022 we released our debut album “Defeat all”. We enjoy the present and look forward to the future! The band’s instrumental section has worked together before, so communication was really fast. And vocals? The vocals make the face of the band and we are glad that Pavlina Mochova sings with us – her voice is quite exceptional. In the past, she won the competition “Czechia sings”. The second, but equivalent singer Zuzana Batkova complements her perfectly. She is a great musician and we knew that we wanted to work with this person. We believe we are in a strong lineup. Much more than we have ever been in the past in another bands, and we are extremely enjoying it. And, above all, we have better relationships, that is the basis…

2. How would you describe your sound?

Even though we grew up in the eighties and nineties, the sound moves forward with huge steps that we must respect. We tried to reach a compromise and the first album has a sound with both modern trends and a touch of the past. At least we think so (laugh). Listeners must judge whether this has succeeded.

3. What bands/artists would you say have influenced your style of music?

Probably Primal Fear, Beast in Black, Judas Priest, Arch Enemy, Five Finger Death Punch, Accept, Gamma Ray, Nightwish, Queen, Bryan Adams and many more!

4. Has the rise of YouTube & music streaming helped or hindered you as a band?

Although we are opposed to these platforms and selling music on the Internet, YouTube helped us a lot in the beginning of the band. We released our first single as an unknown band and in a few days a lot of listeners (including foreign ones) knew about us. Within a few days we also ran as a novelty in Czech rock media and the Metal Factory was born. We didn’t spend a penny in it then.

5. What do you enjoy doing when you’re not making music?

We love sports, fine arts, sitting with friends, barbecues, parties, beer and of course we must not forget our civilian work!

6. What are your future plans musically? Tours?

We want to get under the skin of the fans. We adore our listeners and fans and we will do what we can for them. We want to play concerts, make new music – everything. But we must not forget our private lives.
