1. How did you get started as a band?

After playing several “scene” type bands over the years I felt the need to be more creative in the writing and overall sound. IL started off as a side project while I was playing bass for Orwellian and vocals for Torso Murder around 2017-2018.

2. How would you describe your sound?

Depending on the song, I would say Progressive, Symphonic, Industrial, Nu-deathcore, with hints of Black/Death metal.

3. What bands/artists would you say have influenced your style of music?

Pink Floyd, Fear Factory, Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, Bleeding Through, Heaven Shall Burn, Epica, Lacuna Coil, Gojira, etc.

4. Has the rise of YouTube & music streaming helped or hindered you as a band?

I believe it has helped reach people on the other side of the world that would not have been possible 20-30years ago without a major label.

5. What do you enjoy doing when you’re not making music?

Going to shows, traveling, playing video games, relaxing with a drink next to a nice fire.

6. What are your future plans musically? Tours?

February 2nd the new single Unraveling Sanity was released on all platforms including a lyric video on YouTube. We aim to finish recording the new album Art Of Corruption by June with a Fall release. As for any touring we are just sticking to our region, the Midwestern United States at the moment.
