Band Interview: Hush Hush (Written)
Games, Brrraaains & A Head-Banging Life bring you an interview with post-hardcore/modern metal band, Hush Hush.
1. Hello! Thank you for taking the time to chat to us. First things first, tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started.
We are a post hardcore band from Buffalo, NY. We started as a solo project and have been gaining members as we proceed. Dominick Villa being the origin of the band had inspiration from a close friend to get back to creating music and that’s what he did!
2. Someone comes to you and asks you to sum up what kind of music you play – what do you tell them?
We would say we are an old school post hardcore band with a taste of modern metal.
3. What’s currently going on in your camp? New releases? Tours? Etc.
Currently we are traveling to our studio to finish a couple new songs that we have on the way! We do have some new releases coming thru out this year and potential touring ideas so stay tuned!
4. What has been the most positive experience of making music to date for you?
The most positive experience would have been to see it all come into place on where we were to where we are to where we are heading honestly.
5. Likewise, what has been some of the more challenging aspects and how have you overcome them?
Honestly, we haven’t as a group faced any extreme challenges at the moment.
6. How do you handle the modern expectations of being in a band? Always online, having to put out content constantly, your success measured in likes and follows?
We try to handle it our best but it is definitely difficult, we are trying to be better with our time management with all of the moving parts!
7. What’s something that really ‘grinds your gears’ about the industry/business these days and what would you propose is done to combat it?
Honestly the industry will never truly change at the core and we wouldn’t know where to start to clean up the bad parts of it.

Just give it a listen! Share! And support!
9. Outside of the music, what’s do you do to relax?
Just spending time with our family’s and toying around with cars and exploring the world!
