Band Interview: Blinding Sunrise

Games, Brrraaains and a Head-Banging Life are pleased to bring you an interview with female-fronted Italian melodic metalcore band, Blind Sunrise.

1. How did you get started as a band?

We were all already friends and had a passion for music, so we decided to put up a band when we were so young! Playing covers and stuff like every band in their first period does 🙂

2. How would you describe your sound?

Powerful, smooth, soft, intense. Just check it out to understand it in the best way possible because its so particular 🙂

3. What bands/artists would you say have influenced your style of music?

I guess we’d go for Eyes Set To Kill. They have influenced us the most and from there we moved just with the music we like without any particular influences and guidelines.

4. Has the rise of YouTube & music streaming helped or hindered you as a band?

YouTube helped us a lot. Definitely especially with our anime covers where we reached a lot of views, new comments and lots of people who support us 😀

5. What do you enjoy doing when you’re not making music?

Watching anime, playing video games, hanging around. All of this stuff in our personal studio where we write new music and record ourselves! That’s pretty amazing 🙂

6. What are your future plans musically? Tours?
