1. How did you get started as a band?

We started out in 2011 in a cold garage outside of Malmo, Sweden. Just making whatever music we felt like, be open to all suggestions and do what felt best, doing what we could to not be just rock or punk or whatever. But we landed in alternative rock as our foundation and then do anything on top of that.

2. How would you describe your sound?

Alternative rock with a hint of punk rock. Imagine that Foo Fighters and Biffy Clyro had a baby that really liked Blink-182! There you have Astro-Lloyd!

3. What bands/artists would you say have influenced your style of music?

Main influence is Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Blink-182 and The Hives.

4. Has the rise of YouTube & music streaming helped or hindered you as a band?

Both. Absolutely helped get our music and videos out there but it is a lot of work to get it noticed. But once you get people to notice you, it gets a bit better. But still, a lot of work.

5. What do you enjoy doing when you’re not making music?

Finding inspiration for making more music. Hanging out with friends and family, reading books, watching movies and TV-shows, listening to all other music out there. But most of our free time is spent on and with the band!

6. What are your future plans musically? Tours?

We have just finished recording our second album, to be released early summer 2022. Then just to get out and play as many shows as possible.
