1. How did you get started as a band?

TK (Vocals, Guitars, Bass, Keyboards): I was always interested in music but it was in middle school that I discovered extreme metal. I never really looked back.

2. How would you describe your sound?

TK: We are a Black/Death Metal band.

3. What bands/artists would you say have influenced your style of music?

TK: Far too many to count! But integral to my development as a musician would have been Old Man’s Child, Dissection, Sacramentum, Thy Serpent, Dark Tranquillity, Morbid Angel, Hate Eternal, Cannibal Corpse, Exodus, Testament…. There’s just so many who inspire me to do what I do.

4. Has the rise of YouTube & music streaming helped or hindered you as a band?

TK: I would say so. We have had a few YouTube channels reach out to us and ask if they could upload our work to their channel. It has provided great exposure and attracted new followers to our BandCamp and Facebook pages. As far as streaming services go, I’m afraid we do not have any experience with such platforms at the moment.

5. What do you enjoy doing when you’re not making music?

TK: Anything that spurs creativity. Reading, writing, walking at the park, meditating, whatever. My mind is always buzzing ideas around.

6. What are your future plans musically? Tours?

TK: For now, we are focused on writing and recording the releases we have planned for the end of this year. Next year, we’re hoping to look for a label to do physical releases of previous and future material. As for touring, that’s a big step forward and one we have to plan carefully for. But one day, we will absolutely make it out on the road. Thank you for your time!
