Album Review: Злурад – Во благо злу (addicted label BNiL)
Злурад — Во благо злу aka Zlurad – A Blessing or a Curse (For the Good of Evil) was released via addicted label BNiL from Moscow, Russia. Eight tracks of utter madness.
How on earth do you describe this album to someone who hasn’t experienced the chaos for themselves? It’s an utter mess of noise, that sounds like a couple of bulls were thrown into a room alongside instruments. From the moment the first track begins many will just turn it off as it’s near unlistenable. However, it deserves more time as a bit of structure begins to rear its head, order is found amongst the chaotic shattering and it slowly begins to make sense and become kind of enjoyable.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s still an absolute insane record filled with revolting yelps, screams and roars. As well as uncultured punkiness, filth covered sludge and cannibalistic drums. A truly unique experience that really needs a couple of listens to appreciate but few will be able to even manage even one.
