Music News: Rebel Machine Release New Acoustic Song ‘Not So Rebel After All’
Fun, high energy and truth are just a few of the defining traces of Rebel Machine as a band that prioritizes music and message over labelling their sound. The group started as a four piece and got together with the goal of finding their own identity and voice in Rock N Roll, through a fearless bet on the mix of the band members many influences – which are not always that obvious.
Since the release of their debut album ‘Nothing Happens Overnight’ (2016), going through their sophomore album ‘Whatever it Takes’ (2019), Rebel Machine has flourished and reaped the fruit of their hard work with many positive reviews on specialized press in Brazil as well as Spain, Germany, Unite Kingdom, Japan, United States and Sweden. Their music has been played in radio, TV, and streaming services all over the globe, which has helped the band share the stage with Brazilian artists such as ‘Far From Alaska’, ‘Scalene’, ‘Baleia’ and ‘Plutão Já Foi Planeta’ as well as international acts like ‘Black Label Socitey’ and ‘Slash’.
In 2021 the band is working on their third record, now as a trio. The album is going to be released through a series of singles and EPs that will define this chapter of the band’s history and will show the same influences from Scandinavian Rock and elements of Alternative Rock, always with a new twist, to help define Rebel Mahcine’s own style. While the new album is being recorded, the trio is ready to release the acoustic track ‘Not So Rebel After All’, which will be in all streaming platforms on February 19th, alongside a brand new music video.
