Music News: The Cryptics Cancel Their Upcoming Tour Dates!
Following the release of their new album “Continuous New Behavior”, punks The Cryptics had announced a huge US tour, from February to May 2020.
The guys are unfortunately forced to cancel the remaining dates because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Vocalist Tino Valpa commented on their Facebook page:
This pretty much goes without saying at this point, but the remainder of the tour dates are also canceled. We were hanging on to see if anything would change for the better but it clearly will not be any time soon. We marked the dates blue for the shows that happened and red for everything that was canceled. We were only able to complete 1 month out of what was supposed to be 3 months.
We thank everyone that made it out to one of the shows before this all hit, all the promoters and bands we played with. It was a great tour and we feel so wrong not being on the road right now. We’ll make up the cities we lost. We’re just not sure when is even possible to do so right now. Will keep you posted.
When this passes and things return back to normal we will absolutely be rescheduling the dates for all the cities we missed. We are not afraid, we did not give in, we just had everything around us canceling and had no choice.
The band’s new record, “Continuous New Behavior”, is available since January 31st on major streaming platforms and on CD & vinyl here.
