Music News: Fury Release Second Single From Their Upcoming Album ‘The Grand Prize’

Heavy Metal band Fury have released their second single ‘The World Is Mine’ from their upcoming album ‘The Grand Prize’.

Singer Julian Jenkins says:

The World Is Mine is a bit of a different vibe for Fury, it has a more aggressive, hard edged tone than anything we’ve done before. It goes from being a riffed out crunch-fest and gradually builds to probably the most thashy we’ve ever been. Oh and there’s a million guitar solos! Lyrically the song is in keeping with one of the albums major themes, which is, winning & doing whatever it takes to be the best.

Bassist Becky Baldwin says:

‘The World Is Mine’ is a balls-to-the-wall heavy neck-breaker that metalheads will enjoy both live and on recording. As always, Fury’s riffing style keeps it old school, but the newest release is spreading in a new direction featuring more expansive vocal and harmony work from Julian. ‘The World Is Mine’ also features a gut busting drum break from Tom Fenn which is not advised to headbang along with.

The Grand Prize will be released worldwide on Thursday 2nd April 2020 with an album launch party at The Castle & Falcon in Birmingham. The track is now available to purchase via CD Baby, iTunes and Amazon mp3. Stream the song for free on Spotify, Deezer and Youtube.

The Grand Prize was recorded, mixed and mastered by Pete Newdeck of PNP Production.
