Music News: The Hellfreaks Release Video For Track ‘Men In Grey’

Hell was full so they came back!

In January 2020 Hellfreaks’ fourth album “God On The Run” will be released. The band has been working on the new songs for over two years, fulfilling their old dream to work with foreign producers. For pre-production work Paul Miner (New Glory, Atreyu, Death By Stereo), for production/mixing Evan Rodaniche (Escape The Fate, Powerman 5000, Lacey Sturm), and for the mastering Tom Waltz joined them to provide the perfect final form for the band’s songs and ideas. Thanks to Mihaszna Film, the first video clip has been made for the track “Men In Grey”.

It focuses on the value of time and its irreplaceable and irreversible nature.

Under the pressure of everyday performance stress, everybody is constantly striving for efficiency, trying to make every moment of their lives worthwhile, because our social worth is determined by the achievements in our work. Meanwhile, we do not have the time to ask ourselves: Is this really the key to success and happiness?

The main inspiration for the lyrics came from a tale about time by Michael Ende Momo, in which:

A mysterious company, a group of grey lords (Men In Grey) overwhelm people and encourage them to save time. But time is life itself, and life dwells in the heart. So the more they conserve it, the poorer, more shallow and cooler their present will become, and the more they will become a stranger to themselves.
