Video Premiere: Rosa Alba by Materia (The Rising)
Polish metal band, Materia was formed in November 2007 by two brothers Michał “Mihu” and Tadeusz “Tede” Piesak as well as their good friend Jakub “Marcia” Marciniak.
The band quickly started writing its own material. Finally in the beginning of 2009 they released their first demo “Vandals”.
In 2010 Adrian “Adi” Dubiński joined Materia on the second guitar. His talent opened the band for new better sound and it was a step ahead. A Year later their first official EP called “Holidays On The Angels Island” (2011) was released.
Materia had become popular in Poland, which led to them play shows all over the country, winning young band competitions and starts to play their first Polish tours. After 6 years Materia got to the breaking point of their musical path. At the beginning of 2013 they finished and released their first LP “Case of Noise” and got on “Must Be The Music” – the most popular talent show in Poland. 2nd place give them chance to promote their music on mainstream television and spread the word about the band not only among metal fans.
They’ve been growing in size over the last few years leading to the incoming release of their new album, The Rising. We now bring you the first single from the upcoming album, Rosa Alba.
