News: Sertraline To Release New Single “Relapse” On March 15th
The news Sertraline fans have been waiting for for the best part of two years is here; New music is on the way!
The Leeds / Manchester quintet are delighted to announce the release of their new single Relapse, which will drop on March 15th. Relapse will be the first new music from Sertraline since their acclaimed 2017 EP Guilty. Here’s the lowdown from Sertraline themselves about their upcoming new single:
“We’ve developed and evolved so much since the last EP, we needed to release something that reflects who we are now. There’s way more aggression in this track; through the vocals, guitar tones, drumming style, everything! But we’ve kept our signature catchy melodies and layers of ‘atmospheric goodness’. ‘Relapse’ has been a huge learning process – we’re beyond excited to get it out there! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.”
The release of Relapse comes after a hugely successful 2018 for Sertraline, which included their first ever European tour. Most notably, they successfully battled their way through the Metal 2 The Masses setup, they won a slot on the New Blood Stage at Bloodstock Open Air Festival. They delivered the performance of their career so far at Catton Hall, rightly winning rave reviews in the process. They closed the year by headlining ScruffyFest in Birmingham, having won a public vote to be the festival headliners for the last day of the festival. Now with the release of Relapse, Sertraline are picking up where they left off, with hopes and expectations for their most successful year yet.
