1. How did you get started as a band?

One day back in the summer of 2013, Andrew showed Alex some lyrics that he had written, so Alex began writing music with our old bass player while Andrew was finishing his last year of college. We wrote 8 songs in that time, chose 5, and released our self-titled EP. We’ve been touring and playing shows ever since.

2. How would you describe your sound?

We like to think our music is a blend of heavy driving riffs, groovy rhythms, mixed with punk vocals, and spoken word.

3. What bands/artists would you say have influenced your style of music?

Our influences have a wide range, but our primary influences are Troubled Coast, Being As An Ocean, Touche Amore, and La Dispute.

4. Has the rise of YouTube & music streaming helped or hindered you as a band?

I think it’s helped our band in the sense that it is now easy to put your music out there to people you wouldn’t think of ever reaching. When we found out we had a few die-hard fans from Germany, we were amazed and humbled to hear our music had reached that far. A few months ago we opened for Glassjaw and Quicksand on their USA tour, and we met a guy that had driven from across the United States to come see us. Really amazing to see music have that kind of reach and power.

5. What do you enjoy doing when you’re not making music?

Andrew and Alex are huge soccer (Football in the UK) fans, so we enjoy going to pubs together and watching our favorite teams.

6. What are your future plans musically? Tours?

The plan for the band is to continue to write music and tour until we can’t do this anymore.
