Interview: Whitney Cooper (Vocals) and Joe Landles (Bass) of Arimea

Oxford’s fast-rising nu-metal outfit, Arimea, will release their brand-new EP, ‘Orchid Street’ on November 28th, 2024.

Arimea are going to be an even bigger force in the UK metal scene than they currently are. A force that is recognised across varied bases, throughout different groups, and via the power of a release that showcases their impressive creative abilities. Orchid Street is a very special EP made up of very special tracks created by very special musicians. None more notable than vocalist Whitney Cooper, who has such an incredible voice.

This is a segment from our upcoming review of Orchid Street, and it can’t be understated just how powerful and impressive an effort it is.

This is just one reason why chatting to vocalist Whitney and bassist Joe was so impactful, especially as we delve deeply into the creative process and how they got to this point. We also talk about vision, not just for this record, but the long-term one that they have for Arimea. As well as why this is such an important release for them, what they hope listeners might take away from it, and so much more.
